Filtration and sizing

This cartridge filter captures suspended debris as a separate circulation pump moves water through the filter elements. Select it using the required circulation flow, the manufacturer's maximum flow rating and the dirt load expected in your pool. A larger filtration area can provide more room for collected debris, but cleaning frequency still depends on use and water conditions.

Before ordering

Check inlet and outlet sizes, connection positions, the equipment-pad footprint and the vertical clearance needed to lift out the cartridge elements. This listing is for the complete filter model, not a loose replacement cartridge. Circulation pumps, site-specific pipework and installation labor are separate. For future replacement elements, match the exact filter model rather than square footage alone.

Maintenance

Cartridge elements are removed and cleaned instead of routinely backwashed. Record the clean starting pressure and use the manufacturer's pressure-rise guidance to decide when cleaning is needed. Shut down the pump and fully release system pressure before opening the tank. Continue water testing and sanitizing; a filter does not replace chemical treatment.
