Vac-Alert VA-2000-S — Submerged-Suction Safety Vacuum Release System
The VA-2000S is a mechanical safety vacuum release system for the manufacturer's specified submerged or flooded-suction installations. It responds to an abnormal vacuum condition by admitting air to release pump-generated suction.

Selection and use
Have a qualified pool professional select the model using pump elevation, pump size and operating schedule. The manufacturer specifies VA-2000S for suction more than 24 inches below the water surface and recommends it for continuously operating commercial flooded-suction systems. Installation, adjustment and functional testing must follow the full manual. This device is one component of a properly designed suction-safety system and does not replace required drain covers or other protective measures.
